The former West Ham defender was signed up by Mask Our Heroes Founder and Chief Masketeer, actor Tamer Hassan. Anton has kindly agreed to take part in helping to drop essential PPE to the frontline of the NHS and other health settings.
Anton, who has also played professionally for QPR and Sunderland, joins Tamer and ex-England and Fulham footballer Jimmy Bullard, TV star Calum Best, and internet sensations Arron Crascall and Dapper Laughs as Masketeers.
They are all united to help ease the COVID-19 crisis through the supply of PPE, still a massive frontline issue in the U.K.
Tamer said: “It is incredible to have Anton on board. He feels passionately about this, as we all do. Welcome my friend and let’s continue to do some good.”
Mask Our Heroes Co-Founder Matt McGahan, who tragically lost his father to the virus added:
“Thank you Anton. We are proud to welcome you as part of our team to try and make a difference. “The matter of PPE supply to those who need it on the frontline of this crisis is still a huge live issue. The public must be informed of that.”
